.308 Caliber AR Parts Kit - 24" Target

.308 Caliber AR Complete Parts kit LESS lower receiver, with 24 inch target barrel and flat top Upper receiver. Item # AR10-RK24. This .308 caliber barrel is 24 inches long, and features an 11 degree target crown for muzzle protection. It sports a full length, aluminum alloy handguard. This hand guard is hardcoat anodized for long life and scratch resistance, and completely free floats the barrel, enhancing accuracy and dissipating heat. It is a two piece design for ease of cleaning. The gas block is machined from aircraft aluminum and hardcoat anodized IAW Mil Spec A8625, Type III, Class II, black per No. 37038, Table IX with nickel acetate seal. This gas block has an M1913 Picatinny rail for fast and easy attachment of accessories. The barrel is machined from chrome moly, re-sulpherized, gun quality steel, and hardened to a Rockwell C of 28 to 32 for extremely long life, heat dissipation, and corrosion resistance. The 24 inch barrel gives a higher velocity, smaller standard deviation in velocity between shots, and greater accuracy than shorter barrels. All external steel parts are manganese phosphate finished for long lasting good looks and corrosion protection. The barrel is a target contour ( .995 diameter under the handguard and .935 diameter under the front sight base) for optimum accuracy The barrel is button rifled with 6 grooves, right hand, 1 / 10 twist. The barrel is mounted on an A3 upper receiver with built in Mil-spec M1913 Picatinny accessory rail, hardcoat anodized IAW Mil Spec A8625, Type III, Class II, black per No. 37038, Table IX with nickel acetate seal, as per the Mil-spec. The buttstock is the current US Mil-Spec A2 buttstock. This buttstock features the correct length for American shooters, spacer, trap door butt plate and correct foam insert. All semi auto lower receiver parts are INCLUDED (we use a bolt stop that does not feature a last shot hold open) as well as semi auto bolt, carrier, and charging handle. The upper is COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED. Each and every part to the gun is included EXCEPT the stripped lower receiver! (A complete firearm is pictured, the lower receiver, scope and magazine, even though shown in the picture, are NOT included), THIS PARTS KIT FITS ARMALITE/EAGLE LOWER RECEIVERS, IT WILL FIT DPMS LOWERS WITH MINIMAL FITTING BUT THERE WILL BE A LARGE GAP WHERE THE LOWER CURVES. Most people find this unacceptable. Since this parts kit does not include the receiver, no FFL is required.
